Hi, I'm Diyar. I help small, local businesses become brands people actually talk about. I'm a Computer Science student at Wilfrid Laurier University, but the problems I find most interesting aren't purely technical ones. They're about how a business gets discovered in the first place.
That started close to home. I ran the full reopening campaign for my family's bakery, Baran's Bakery: content, paid ads, and physical posters around the neighbourhood, and grew it past 800 new followers and 200K+ views in a couple of months. From there I mentored on content and SEO for Sourdough Bread Co., a small business here in Kitchener, and I run madebydiyar, a personal content brand where I test short-form formats and UGC, including car content with Topfloor Audi.
My CS background is an advantage, not a detour. I'm comfortable in analytics dashboards, I can build and maintain the sites I market, and I treat campaigns the way I treat code: test it, measure it, iterate.
